Stanislav Buninis a Russian-born pianist. He was born in 1966 into a distinguished musical family. In 1985, at age 19 he won first prize at the International Frederick Chopin Piano Competition. In 1988 he left the Soviet Union and now resides in Japan. He is also the grandson of Heinrich Neuhaus.
